I have the i860 and I could not send messages and/or pictures to
e-mail addresses. I could send them from the phone to my Yahoo
account and forward them from there and to one ISP. Nextel says
they have an "issue" with MMS.
Looking at the headers from the returned mail I saw where
SpamAssasin blocks any messages where the From address begins with
a number. I discussed this with my ISP and they worked it out and
now I can send MMS from the phone to my PC and others with Prolog.
The received messages have a SPAM tag in the From address but they
go through ok. I can send to some ISP's that either don't use
SpamAssasin or don't have it set so tight.
I told Nextel about this and perhaps it will be worked out. They
informed me the From address can't be changed from the cell phone
number. Maybe a download could do it.
